MongrelNation is a Berlin based practice for imagery and
art direction run by Swiss-Japanese Maiko Gubler.
The synthesis of diverse backgrounds is reflected in our
expertise: we manufacture contemporary media beyond
rigid disciplines, combining sculpting, 3D modeling,
illustration and ideation.
MongrelNation stages ideas for use in editorials,
animations, spatial media and interactive environments.
After studying at Zurich's ZHDK and graduating from the
Berlin University of the Arts, Maiko has been working
as an art director and illustrator since 2003.
She is available for commissions either solo or with her
network of creatives.
